Hypnotherapy for Children in Delray Beach, FL | Bunny Talk Process™ for Children & Families

A Gentle, Experiential & Somatic Approach to Children’s Hypnotherapy
Every parent wants their child to feel happy, confident, secure, and free to be themselves.
But children do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling or why certain reactions keep happening.
Sometimes, there is more happening beneath the surface.
The subconscious mind stores thoughts, memories, emotions, beliefs, and experiences. Children can learn emotional patterns somewhere along the way that continue to influence how they feel and respond, even when they are not consciously aware of them.
The Bunny Talk Process™ is a playful, experiential approach to hypnotherapy that helps children explore what may be happening beneath the surface.
Through hypnotherapy, imagination, play, and creative expression, Bunny Talk gives children another way to understand their emotions and discover new ways to respond.
Children’s Hypnotherapy & the Bunny Talk Process™
What Is the Bunny Talk Process™ for Children?
The Bunny Talk Process™ was created by hypnotherapist Claudia Rickard as a way to help children and young people express and work through emotions in a non-threatening way.
The process brings together hypnotherapy, play, imagination, storytelling, creative expression, and somatic awareness in a way that feels natural for children.
The goal is not to correct a child's behavior or make them explain everything they are feeling.
It is about creating a safe space where emotions can be explored, understood, and gently worked through.
As children begin to recognize what they are experiencing, they can develop greater emotional awareness, confidence, choice, and self-trust.
How Bunny Talk Combines Hypnotherapy, Subconscious Work & Somatic Awareness
Children experience and communicate emotions differently than adults.
The Bunny Talk Process allows us to work with the subconscious mind, emotions, and body in an experiential way rather than relying only on conscious thinking.
Emotions are energy in motion. Sometimes emotions, memories, and learned responses can continue to influence a child long after the original experience has passed.
Bunny Talk creates a way to explore those patterns and make space for something new.

Hypnotherapy for Children With Anxiety, Worries & Emotional Overwhelm
Children may know they are worried or overwhelmed without understanding why they feel that way or how to change it.
Hypnotherapy and Bunny Talk offer an experiential way to explore the emotional and subconscious patterns underneath those responses.
Hypnotherapy for Children With Phobias, Fears & Separation Anxiety
Fears can feel very real to a child, even when they understand logically that they are safe.
Bunny Talk can provide a gentle way to explore fears and emotional responses while supporting greater confidence and a sense of security.
Hypnotherapy for Children With Sleep Issues, Bedwetting & Recurring Habits
Sleep difficulties, bedwetting, nail biting, picking, hair pulling, and other recurring patterns can sometimes be connected to deeper emotional or subconscious responses.
Bunny Talk can be used as part of an experiential approach to exploring those patterns.
Hypnotherapy for Children With Anger, Emotional Outbursts & Behavioral Patterns
Behavior is communication.
Rather than focusing only on changing the behavior, Bunny Talk allows us to become curious about what may be happening beneath it.
This can help children develop greater awareness of their emotions and new ways of responding.
Hypnotherapy for Children With Confidence, Self-Esteem & Emotional Challenges
Children can carry beliefs about themselves that develop from experiences, relationships, or situations along the way.
Working with the subconscious can help create space for greater self-awareness, confidence, and self-trust.
How the Subconscious Mind Can Influence Children’s Emotions & Behavior
How Children Develop Emotional Patterns Without Realizing It
Children are constantly learning from their experiences and the world around them.
Some thoughts, emotions, and responses become patterns without a child consciously deciding to create them.
Those patterns can sometimes continue to influence behavior long after the original experience.
Why Talking About a Problem Doesn't Always Change the Pattern
A child can understand something intellectually and still feel completely differently inside.
They may know they are safe but still feel afraid.
They may know they should stop a habit but still feel compelled to do it.
They may understand what they are supposed to do but still have the same emotional reaction.
This is where working with the subconscious mind can offer another pathway for change.
Working With the Subconscious Mind, Emotions & the Body
My approach is experiential.
Rather than asking a child to simply think their way through an emotion, we can work with the relationship between the subconscious mind, emotions, and the body.
The intention is to help create greater awareness, choice, confidence, and ease.
A Family-Based Approach to Children’s Hypnotherapy
Parents Experience the Bunny Talk Process Alongside Their Child
Bunny Talk is a family experience.
Parents and caregivers are an important part of the process and have the opportunity to experience Bunny Talk themselves.
This allows parents to learn and grow alongside their child and gain a deeper understanding of their own emotional patterns.
It also creates an opportunity to bring what is learned into everyday family life.
Supporting Emotional Change at Home & Within the Family
The goal is not to blame the child or the parent.
It is to better understand what may be happening beneath the behavior and create more connection, understanding, and confidence within the family.
Parents may also receive simple ways to support and reinforce the work at home.
A Flexible Hypnotherapy Process for Children & Families
Bunny Talk is offered as a minimum of 3–4 sessions to give us time to connect, explore, and create meaningful change.
For some families, that may be enough. For others, Bunny Talk can be offered as ongoing support when additional concerns arise, during life transitions, or when something new comes up that a child or family would like to work through.
The process is flexible and individualized to each child and family.
When Therapy or Talking Alone Hasn't Helped Your Child
An Experiential Approach for Children Who Are Still Struggling
Sometimes a child has already talked about what is happening. They may understand the problem and even know how they want to respond.
Yet the fear, feeling, behavior, or pattern is still there.
That is where working differently may be helpful.
Bunny Talk offers another way to explore subconscious patterns, emotions, and the body when conscious understanding or talking alone has not created the change a family hoped for.
A Different Approach When Your Child Understands But the Pattern Continues
Understanding something and changing something are not always the same thing.
Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind, where many of our learned patterns and emotional responses live.
Bunny Talk brings that work into an experiential approach designed for children.

An Experiential Approach to Children’s Hypnotherapy
My intention is to create a space where children can feel comfortable being themselves while exploring emotions and patterns in a way that feels engaging, imaginative, and natural.
And while Bunny Talk was created with children and young people in mind, my broader hypnotherapy work can also support adults who feel that talking about a problem alone has not created the change they are looking for.
